Safety Education & Training
Carr and Duff possess a Safety Always Attitude and it starts from the beginning. Upon arrival, every new employee is provided with our Safey Manual during their orientation.
We understand that Safety is learned through proper work practices, management participation, positive reinforcement, and training.
Our Safety Committee is certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry while our Quality Control Program is approved by New Jersey Transit and PECO/Exelon Energy
Our commitment to Safety doesn’t end at Orientation. Safety is at the forefront of our minds – daily, weekly, and even annually. There’s a Safety Brief every morning on site, followed by Weekly Toolbox Talks to discuss recent or relevant concerns, and then there’s our Annual Safety Meeting. Once a year we gather all employees for a Safety Conference full of vendors, guest speakers, and giveaways.
Our employees are our greatest asset and their safety and health receive our utmost support and participation. Our objective is to establish a comprehensive, effective program throughout the company.
