Project Overview
Carr & Duff performed a utility renovation project to convert several Packer campus buildings from PPL utility services to the Lehigh University 12kv underground distribution system.
Carr & Duff furnished and installed all materials necessary to complete the transformation, including excavated duct bank as well as new manholes and vaults. Carr & Duff installed all 15kv cabling, terminations, load breaks, pad mount transformers, indoor transformers and switch-gear, metering, grounding as well as low voltage conduit and wiring.
Additionally, Carr & Duff performed all de-energization and removal of existing transformers and underground cabling that were no longer necessary, as well as final site restoration and permanent protections of the new electrical equipment.
